No matter what cruise line you choose you will find so much included in your cruise fare. However what is and isn't included can vary between cruise line (something we're going to address in another post!).
Viking Ocean Cruises consider themselves 'Very Inclusive'! Here's what you'll get included as standard when you book your Viking Cruise...
Scheduled Economy Class Flights from the UK (Irish flights available with small supplements)
All staterooms and suites have a private veranda (balcony)
A shore excursion in every port!
All dining experiences onboard with no additional charges for speciality (Viking just call them alternative) restaurants
24 hour room service
Complimentary house wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner
Complimentary use of spa facilities
All port charges, airport taxes and overseas transfers
Thats just for starters! You can also expect things like a welcome cocktail reception, a farewell reception, mini bar in your stateroom, luxury robes, slippers and toiletries in your stateroom, laundrettes on every deck and more...
So what won't you find on board a Viking Cruise?
No art auctions
No charge for laundrettes
No spa sales pressure
No interior staterooms
No smoking (except in a dedicated area)
No waiting in lines
No formal nights, no butlers
No "nickel & diming"
So its important when looking at any Viking Cruise fare you consider all that is included! Apart from a drink outside of meal time, an optional shore excursion (although a shore excursion is included at every port) and a spa treatment all of which are optional you really don't have to put your hand in your pocket again! The price you pay up front really is the total cost of your cruise holiday and there's a lot to be said for that!
