We had the pleasure of being onboard Crown Princess in Dublin today. Crown Princess was appearing in Dublin for the 1st time this season but will be here several times as Dublin is her home for the next couple of months for the longest homeporting ever by a major cruise line in Ireland!
, Crown Princess is a Crown Class Ship and is sister to Emerald & Ruby Princess. So even if you’re not going to step onboard Crown Princess cruising out of Dublin, many of you will have (or should have) booked Emerald Princess for the Med this summer and you’ll experience the same elements.
, Crown Princess had a little refresh last year with the addition of several new dining elements such as Slice Pizza Bar, Coffee & Cones Ice Cream bar and Salty Dog poolside Grill where you can get burgers, hot dogs and even tacos! MMM! Oh and aside from food you’ll find the unique Princess luxury bed in every suite, a refreshed casino, an upgraded Spa & Fitness centre and more…
, Crown Princess will be Ocean Medallion enabled from July 24th. You’ll often here the term ‘gamechanging’…but we actually think this will be! This disc, the size of a coin replaces your cruise card. Wear it as a chain, a bracelet, or carry it in your bag or in a Cruise Room lanyard and it will change the way you cruise – it opens your cabin door, it allows you to track & keep in touch with your friends or family on the ship, it allows you to interact on the screens around the ship, it allows you to play games and it contains all your preferences. Can’t be bothered to leave the jacuzzi to go to the bar? Order your favourite drink using Ocean Medallion and the brilliant Princess crew will bring it to you... just let that sink in! What you want…where you want it! 😊 Oh yes…and it’s free!
, Stepping on a Princess cruise ship will be a familiar experience if you’ve cruised with Princess before and that’s deliberate… Crown Princess has lots of Princess’s best features… we love Movies Under the Stars (complete with blankets, popcorn, hot chocolate…), original musical productions including some written by Stephen Schwartz the writer of Wicked and the way that each itinerary immerses you in the destination with themed menus, local entertainers on board and local experiences & activities to enjoy!
, Crown Princess is for the entire family with clubs and activities for children of all ages – The Treehouse is for 3-7, The Lodge is for 8-12 and The Beach House for 13–17 year olds. There are also a wide range of staterooms for up to 4 people and with Princess the fare for 3rd and 4th persons in the same stateroom can be particularly low…how does €99pp sound?
