We've been fortunate enough to be invited on board Norwegian Cruise Line's brand new ship, NCL Bliss embarking in Hamburg on Thursday and cruising for 2 nights to Southampton. Just enough time to explore and experience all there is onboard so that we can bring it back to you.
As always we'll tell you everything we love...and the things we don't! If you remember our review of the NCL Epic you'll remember we thought the entertainment offering was better than we've ever seen before, we loved the dining and we enjoyed the relaxed feeling on board. We weren't as keen on the layout however or the lack of / size of the pools for the size of the ship!
We're looking forward to seeing the differences on Bliss!
So what do we know so far about Bliss? We know that the ship is made with Alaska and the Caribbean in mind and that's where she'll be sailing seasonally. With that in mind we're promised a revolutionary observation lounge with which to enjoy the amazing views these parts of the world will bring.
On board we'll have, quite incredibly, a 2 level go karting racing track which we're looking forward to experiencing and that probably is the standout feature here! Along with that we have an exclusive Laser Tag experience in which to settle a few scores with friends and family! Entertainment, always a strong point includes the full Broadway production of the brilliant Jersey Boys as well as new productions Happy Hour and Havana!
There are new restaurants, Q Texas smokehouse is sure to be a favourite and there's no doubt Coco's Chocolate Cafe will be one of the most popular places on the ship!
A lot of favourites return such as the excellent Cavern Club, the much talked about by you, our 'Roomies', The Waterfront, Cagney's Steakhouse and 678 Ocean Place!
We'll bring you all you need to know over the next 48 hours so you'll know exactly whether NCL Bliss is the right cruise line, the right ship for you!
