In August this year we had the absolute pleasure to meet Celine & Kenneth Yearsley on board the MSC Preziosa after they won our MSC ship visit competition!
At that stage they had never set foot on a ship but had been brave and taken the leap to book a cruise on board MSC Poesia at the start of October. Like so many first timers they were a little nervous about whether cruising would be for them; would they enjoy it, what would the ships be like, what would they do all day, would they like the food etc etc...
But having everything booked by a knowledgeable agent and after a few hours on board Preziosa some concerns would have been allayed given the great day we had but it's never quite the same as experiencing a cruise itself... well, that 7 night cruise was this month... so how did they get on?? We were nervous to find out... we didn't need to be...
"We had an amazing week, loved every minute and definitely will be cruising again" said Celine when we talked to her!
Like so many Cruisers, they are attracted by the itinerary but return because of the service and this would seem to be the case for Celine & Ken! The stunning itinerary included Venice, Mykonos, Athens and Dubrovnik but it was the staff and the service that really impressed! "We loved the great care and attention, MSC did a wonderful job and nothing was a problem for them, it was luxury all the way!"
Despite maybe enjoying the drinks package and the abundance of great food a little too much (well, it's allowed, after all, you're on your holidays and we ALL do it!!!) it certainly seems a great time was had which we were absolutely thrilled about! However we genuinely find it's usually the way and is part of why we're so passionate about helping people make that 1st step! It's just about being brave enough to try it, and once you've experienced it you will want to do it again... but don't take our word for it...take Celine's..."I'm hooked now" she says... and you could be too!
A huge thank you to Celine & Ken for allowing us to share their story, we really appreciate it!
